Lisa Rymer is a newspaper and television journalist making her first foray into radio as the host of "Power and Prosperity."
A
graduate of the University of Michigan, Lisa is currently earning her MBA in non-profit management at Marylhurst University in order to provide a voice for vulnerable sectors of the population who haven't found theirs yet. She has spent the past four
years at the helm of Comcast Newsmakers, a local interview segment
featuring non-profit organizations on Florida's Treasure Coast, broadcast regionally on CNN Headline News.
As the News Director for WWCI-TV10, Lisa wrote and anchored the evening
news in Vero Beach. She continues to produce programming for the station, including hurricane coverage, moderating political forums and interviewing community leaders about economic development and philanthropic innovations. Lisa's weekly column in The Press Journal was launched a year after 9/11, featuring
everyday heroes in the community. Her humor column, Rymer Reason, was published in Suburban Lifestyles in Rochester, Michigan, providing a venue for exploring such subjects as the innocence of O.J. (aka orange juice), the big, white lies we tell our kids and petrified animals sold at souvenir stores across America. With
this radio show, Lisa hopes to provoke consideration of the unexplored depths of our human potential, building a credible bridge from traditional
convictions to contemporary possibilities for creating a magnificent
life.
